Our Core Philosophy
We Don't Sell Repairs
This is the most important thing to understand about us.
Most roof inspections end with a sales pitch. The inspector finds a few issues, then tries to sell you a $15,000 replacement. You're left wondering: "Did they find real problems, or are they just trying to make a sale?"
We never put you in that position.
I don't install roofs. I don't repair them. I don't get commissions from roofing companies. My only income comes from giving you an honest assessment.
When you hire me, you get:
- Zero sales pressure
- No upselling
- Just documentation and answers
If your roof needs work, I'll tell you. If it's fine, I'll tell you that too. Either way, you walk away knowing the truth—not wondering if you were sold something you didn't need.
We Work for You, Not for Insurance Companies
Some inspectors align themselves with insurance companies, trying to minimize payouts. Others align with roofers, trying to maximize claims.
We align with you.
My job is to document what's actually there. If that helps your insurance claim, great. If it saves you from an unnecessary replacement, also great. I have no dog in that fight.
The Drone Difference
Safety First
Every year, homeowners are injured falling off ladders. Roofers fall through skylights. Tiles crack underfoot.
We never set foot on your roof.
Our drones do all the work from a safe distance. You get:
- Zero risk of falling
- Zero damage to roofing materials
- Zero liability if something goes wrong
Better Views
From the ground, you can see maybe 30% of your roof. From a drone, we see:
- Every slope from every angle
- Valleys where water concentrates
- Flashing around chimneys and vents
- Ridge caps and hip lines
- Hard-to-reach areas over second stories
We don't guess. We see.
Thermal Imaging (Optional)
Our advanced drones carry thermal cameras that detect:
- Hidden moisture under shingles
- Air leaks around penetrations
- Insulation gaps
- Active leaks you can't see with the naked eye
We find problems months or years before they become ceiling stains.
What You Actually Get
Not Just Photos—A Real Report
Anyone can take pictures from a drone. We deliver something more valuable: a complete inspection report you can actually use.
Every report includes:
- Executive Summary – Plain English findings, no jargon
- 10-50 High-Res Photos – Every roof section documented
- Annotated Images – Problem areas clearly marked
- Thermal Images (if applicable) – Hidden moisture detection
- Priority Recommendations – What needs attention now vs. later
- Insurance-Ready Format – Organized for claim submission
Reports You Can Keep Forever
Your report isn't just for today. Keep it for:
- Insurance documentation
- Warranty records
- Home sale disclosures
- Tracking changes over time
Credentials That Matter
🇺🇸 FAA Part 107 Certified
I hold an active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. This means:
- Every flight is legal and compliant
- I'm trained in safety and airspace regulations
- Insurance companies accept my documentation
- You're protected from liability
🛡️ Fully Insured
I carry general liability insurance for your protection. If something goes wrong (it won't), you're covered.
📍 Local to Austin
I live here. I work here. I understand:
- Austin's unique weather patterns
- Common roof issues in our area
- Local building codes and requirements
- Which neighborhoods have older roofs vs. new construction
When storms hit, I'm here—not flying in from out of state.
Our Guarantees
🤝 The Honesty Guarantee
If I find nothing wrong, I'll tell you. If I find minor issues, I'll tell you. If your roof needs replacement, I'll tell you that too—and provide documentation so you know why.
No surprises. No hidden agendas.
📸 The Photo Guarantee
You'll see every photo I take. If I take 40 photos, you get 40 photos. No cherry-picking, no hiding problem areas.
📞 The Follow-Up Guarantee
Have questions about your report a month from now? A year? Call me. I'm here.
What We Don't Do
Sometimes what we don't do is more important than what we do.
We DON'T
We DON'T
Questions to Ask Any Inspector
Before hiring anyone to look at your roof, ask:
(If yes, they're biased)
(If they can't, run)
(If no, walk away)
(If yes, there's risk of damage)
(If no, they're missing things)
Ready for an Honest Answer?
No pressure. No sales pitch. Just a clear look at what's happening on your roof.
